|I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter…the cast-offs of human society.
I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness, and betrayal. And I was angry.
“God,” I said, “this is terrible! Why don’t you do something?
“God was silent for a moment, and then He spoke softly, “I have done something,” he replied. “I created you.”

I am the animal services Coordinator, I handle the intake, care of, and adopting out of animals. I love working for HSO, the amount of love and effort that is put in from the staff and our board to make sure we do the absolute most for our animals is unmatched. I am extremely proud of all we have and will accomplish. I am a huge animal lover! I have 2 rescue animals, one 5 year old cat named Leo and one 1 year old Dachshund (dog) named Sammie, they are my world, and I couldn’t imagine life without my rescue animals!
