In an effort to help pet owners keep their pets and take optimal care of those pets we have collected the following information to assist pet owners in their time of need. 

*Any of these grants can be used in combination with our Emergency Veterinary Care Voucher Program.

Hungry Hearts Pet Food Bank

Handicapped Pets Foundation

Provides mobility equipment to elderly, disabled and injured pets in need.

At Rose’s Fund we are sensitive to the fact that it takes more than love to save a life, and all animals deserve a chance. We will financially assist, to the best of our ability, pet owners and Good Samaritans who have an animal with a good prognosis for a healthy life, but are at a financial loss. (877) 505.4234

RedRover has compiled a comprehensive directory of organizations in the United States that can provide financial assistance with veterinary care, including dozens of grant and loan programs and fundraising tools. RedRover cannot guarantee that any of the organizations listed will be able to help in your specific situation, and RedRover does not endorse any of the listed veterinary clinics. Clinics are listed only if they have an emergency fund.

THE PET FUND

The Pet Fund provides financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need veterinary care. Often animals are put down or suffer needlessly because their owners cannot afford expensive surgery or medical treatment. Companion animal owners must often make the difficult decision to put an animal down or neglect medical needs because of the costs involved. (916) 443.6007

CareCredit offers special financing and low monthly payment options, no up-front costs, and no-prepayment penalties so you can keep your pet healthy and happy.

FVEAP-Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance

Only submit Application if cat has Vaccine Associated Sarcoma (VAS), also known as Injection Site Sarcoma (ISS). We are not able to assist with any other conditions.

Paws 4 A Cure

Veterinary assistance for families that cannot afford veterinary care. Owner must have applied for Care Credit and be able to provide determination letter. Owner must also be able to provide proof of need for financial assistance by producing a recent version of your tax returns.

Assists seniors with pets with their Best Friends Senior program. Up to $100 per year for any vet expenses, including grooming, shots, veterinary procedures, etc. To qualify applicants must have an annual income not exceeding $19,000 for a single person household and not exceeding $25,000 for a couple. The applicant must reside in Washington or Benton County of Arkansas. We have a 5-month wait period before you will receive your voucher, should you qualify. This applies toward pet food, vaccinations, and emergency medical services only (limitations apply), but not spay/neuter services. The Big Hearts Fund

(Temporarily Closed) For cats or dogs whose owners meet HUD Low-Income Requirements and can prove sudden and unexpected hardship due to death, job loss, natural disaster, or illness/injury. Funds go toward diagnosis and/or treatment of feline and canine heart disease. Cannot fund those considered to be of geriatric age.

Brown Dog Foundation

For dogs diagnosed with a treatable illness the owner is not capable of funding. Owner must be able to provide proof of need for financial assistance .

The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund

For cats or dogs diagnosed with cancer that would be treatable through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and alternative treatment methods. Owner must prove inability to pay for treatment. The Joshua Louis Animal Cancer Foundation

For cats or dogs diagnosed with cancer that would be treatable through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and alternative treatment methods. Magic Bullet Fund

For dogs diagnosed with cancer that would be treatable through surgery, chemotherapy and alternative treatment methods (radiation therapy is excluded). Owner must also be able to provide proof of need for financial assistance by producing a recent version of your tax returns and last month’s bank statement.
