Humane Society of the Ozarks actively works to overcome the challenges causing animals to be abandoned, abused and overpopulated in Northwest Arkansas. One of the main causes of this is lack of proper education in pet care and lack of informational resources. In response, we would like to provide the residents of Northwest Arkansas with the resources to make informed decisions and find the answers to many of today’s animal welfare issues. Please find below information regarding some of the most pressing issues we face today:
Puppy Mills: Find out what a puppy mill is and exactly why HSO and so many other animal welfare organizations and individuals are fighting to shut this abusive practice down for good.
