Adoptable Pets - SEE BElow for full adoption process

At Humane Society of the Ozarks, we work to ensure pets and families are well matched. That is why we use a specific process for matching rescues with people. 

It is in the best interest of the animal and the adopting family.  

General Information: 

• You must be 18 years or older
• Adoption applications must be filled out prior to meeting pet.
• Home visit may be required depending on the pet's history.
• You must provide the name of your current or potential veterinary clinic and they will be contacted as a reference.
• All members living in home must meet pet prior to adoption.
• We do a trial adoption to ensure a great fit for everyone. 

Adoption Fees: 

• Adult Dogs: $175
• Puppies: $200
• Cats: $100
• Animals in high demand will require a higher adoption fee (ragdolls, Russian blues, poodles, Goldens, etc). 
• Adoption fees include: fully vaccinated (rabies, DAPP, bordetella, FVRCP, etc), Spay/Neuter, heartworm test (if old enough), 1 heartworm prevention tablet for dogs, goody bag with food/treats for dogs & cats, & endless resources more.
